IMS policy and strategy
In order to maintain and enhance Greenergy Services’ position within the market place, the company has developed a systematic approach within our Integrated Management System (IMS) to lead the company towards continual improvement of its performance.
Policies
Greenergy Services has developed five Policy Statements detailing the Company’s strategic approach to environmental, quality and health & safety issues.
Environmental
Greenergy Services has carried out Environmental Risk Assessments to determine the actual and potential environmental impacts of its activities, products and services. These impacts are defined as 'aspects'. These assessments have identified aspects with “significant” impact and have been developed into a Register of 'Significant Impacts'. Our Management Procedures within our IMS outline how aspects are developed and reviewed, the outcome of which forms the environmental focus of the management system.
Hazards
We have carried out Health and Safety Risk Assessments to determine the risks associated with the company’s activities, products and services (hazards). These assessments have been developed into a Register of “risks”. Our Management Procedures outline the way in which these hazards and risks are developed and reviewed. The outcome of these reviews form the health and safety focus of the management system.
Legislation
Greenergy Services has identified and has access to legal and other requirements, which are directly applicable to the activities of the Company. Relevant environmental and heath and safety legislation has been put on to a Register of Legislation, the development and review of which is described in our Management Procedures. Specific legislative controls placed upon the company are embraced through the incorporation into specific procedures where applicable.
Customer focus
Our Company is committed to ensuring that, as far as practicable, all of the Client's requirements are achieved, and where possible exceeded. We achieve these by using initiatives such as tender reviews, client meetings, monitoring and reporting.
System Documentation
Our IMS manual describes the management system as adopted by Greenergy Services. The manual details how we have implemented our Environmental, Quality and Health & Safety policies and objectives. The IMS is applicable to all of the Company's operations, which influences our ability to fulfil our Cient’s requirements. All documentation is controlled by our comprehensive management procedures. All documentation is reviewed through internal auditing and amendments are made and distributed amongst our Employees and Clients as required.
